E-mail generator (with MS Outlook™)

New, in That's Rights! Merge your data seamlessly with Microsoft™ Outlook™ to generate e-mails from within That's Rights!

That's Rights! users can select items - publishers, authors, contacts, mailing lists, but also contracts, licenses, submissions, invoices - any item with an associated follow-up contact - and send an individualised e-mail to each selected item.

The e-mail messages are "individualised" because That's Rights! merges data into your e-mail text. Special "tags" in the message text tell That's Rights! where to put the data (like "Dear {firstName}" for some selected items might become "Dear Jane", "Dear John", "Dear Julie", "Dear Jim", etc.) Once the e-mails are generated, they are placed in a special drafts folder in your Outlook Personal Folders - you can see the e-mail, make adjustments (if necessary) and send.

You can select items and just type in one e-mail message (That's Rights! will generate as many e-mails as items you have selected), or, you can maintain standard e-mail messages as templates, using a variety of formats (plain text, HTML, Outlook message templates, etc.); add attachments, embed images, put a standard Cc or Bcc address on all messages from one merge session - in short, you can use any standard e-mail feature with That's Rights' mail merge.

Select items in That's Rights! and compose an e-mail message (or choose a template); use fields (like {firstName}) to merge That's Rights! data into your mail message.

Messages are sent to a drafts folder in Microsoft Outlook™.
